The well-appointed interiors of the Suzuki Grand Vitara JLS

those hot summer days. Other standard fare on the list includes an AM/FM
stereo with CD player, tilt steering wheel, a convenient cargo cover,
and a split folding rear seat to create more room for extra cargo or longer
items like skis.
Grand Vitara Limited models boast the luxury of opulent leather seating
surfaces, an AM/FM stereo with cassette player and CD player, woodgrain
center consol trim, and genuine leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift
knob.
Exterior Features
The ruggedly handsome exterior of the Grand Vitara JLS is augmented
by dual power outside mirrors, which are conveniently heated in the Limited
models to ensure thorough visibility in colder weather. As well, Grand
Vitara JLS vehicles are fitted with sixteen-inch sport-style steel wheels,
while the Grand Vitara Limited version wear sixteen-inch aluminum alloy
wheels and front fog lights.
Performance
A peek under the hood of the Grand Vitara 2WD JLS reveals a
2.5-litre, 24-valve, quad-cam engine that produces 165 horsepower and
162 lb-ft of torque. Every vehicle is built with a MacPherson strut front
suspension and a five-link coil-spring rear suspension, plus power-assisted
rack-and-pinion steering for tremendously responsive handling. The standard
transmission is five-speed manual, with four-speed automatic transmission
available to you as an option. On the Grand Vitara 2WD Limited, the standard
transmission is four-speed automatic.
The Grand Vitara 4WD JLS and 4WD Limited boasts shift-on-the-fly four-wheel
drive for challenging terrain, mud, and snow.
Safety and Security
Each Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV features safety standards like
child safety locks, child seat tethers and anchors, head restraints, crumple
zones, driver depowered air bag, and passenger depowered air bag. Also
included are a remote keyless entry system and automatic lighting system.
ABS brakes and front fog lights are optional on the JLS models, and standard
on both of the Grand Vitara Limited SUV models.
