The Stratus coupe is the flashy brother of the Stratus sedan. While the
latter is more reserved and introverted, the coupe is every bit a showoff.

Available Models
The 2003 Dodge Stratus coupe is offered in two trim levels: SXT and R/T.
Interior Features
Even with two doors, the 2003 Dodge Stratus coupe still seats five, though
three adults might find the back a tight squeeze. These vehicles are primarily
built for high adrenaline adventure. However, they certainly don't sacrifice
comfort on the inside. The Base SXT is filled with a list of convenience
features that make rides as relaxing as they are fast. Air conditioning,
an AM/FM radio player with an in-dash 4-disc CD changer, cruise control
and power mirrors, windows and door locks top the group.
With the uplevel R/T trim, the following features are added on top of
the already healthy amount found in the base trim: a leather-wrapped steering
wheel with radio controls, remote keyless entry and an Infinity sound
system.
Exterior Features
The new look of the 2003 Dodge Stratus Coupe features all-new front and
rear fascias, grille, headlamps, taillamps, fog lamps and side sill moldings.
In addition, there are new hood and trunk lid designs and a new grille
with chrome inserts.
Performance
These vehicles really sell themselves with their performance. The SXT
model has a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with 147 horsepower at 5500 rpm
and 158 lb-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. There is quite a jump in power as
you step up to the speedy R/T. It is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 engine
that churns out 200 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 205 lb-ft. of torque at
4500 rpm. With both models, both 4-speed automatic and 5-speed manual
transmission are available.
2003 Stratus Coupes are not only fast, they are quiet as well. A single-piece
bodyside aperture and increased use of sound-absorbing materials all help
dampen wind and road noise.
Safety and Security
For safety and security, the 2003 Dodge Stratus coupe offers driver and
front passenger airbags, side airbags, side impact bars in the doors and
a rear seat center shoulder seat belt, as well as available side curtain
airbags. The LATCH (Lower Anchors and upper Tethers for Children) child
seat anchorage system is also included.
