The 2003 Hummer H2 SUV is the more comfortable consumer-oriented version of the Hummerline. The Hummer H1 retains more of the businesslike features of its military forebears.

Interior Features

Exterior Features
The Hummer is all about off-road performance but it has been so successful because of its unique exterior styling. The corner placed wheels, and minimal overhanging bumpers have important offroad application but they are also responsible for the classic and distinctive Hummer look. The H2 has a 122-inch wheel-base, 69.4-inch tread (the tires are nearly 6ft around!) and 32.6-inch front bumper. No other vehicle has these specifications or capabilities for climbing into and out of trouble. The Hummer is available in classic colours like black and dark green.

Performance
This Hummer has power to spare. A 6.0-liter V8 with 315 hp at 5200rpm powers the big beast through its paces. Capable of 360lb-ft of torque at 3600rpm, this powerhouse is ample for towing very large and very heavy objects and is designed for manoeuvring on the most extreme and punishing terrain. It will also drive through deeper water than any other consumer production vehicle.

Unique performance features include a smart Bosch 4-channel antilock braking and traction control system (ABS/TCS) that detects road conditions and adjusts to allow for different handling requirements, whether the surface is gravel, asphalt, potholes, sand or whatever.
