2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe

The 2003 Infinity G35 Sport Coupe is a two-door sport sedan with an important role to play in the classy, upscale Infiniti line-up. Designed to offer a sporty alternative to the I35 and the 4-door G35 luxury performance sedan, the 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe has more power, advanced handling technologies and a general demeanour that is oriented toward raciness. All provided in a relatively affordable yet very luxurious Infiniti platform.

Available Models
The 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe 2-door comes in a base Coupe, Coupe Leather 5A/T (5-speed automatic) or a Coupe Leather 6M/T (6-speed manual), the top-line model.

Interior Features
The 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe comes with the usual collection of Infiniti luxuries, including automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, door locks, steering and mirrors and a 6-speaker, 200-Watt Bose audio system that is coupled with a Radio Data System and steering wheel controls.

The interior is very spacious and, at the Coupe with leather level, equipped with heated leather upholstered power front bucket seats. At this level, the mirrors are heated and an instrument panel featuring Infiniti's fine vision illumination system and signature analog clock are all part of the standard profile.

Exterior Features
The 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe exterior is designed to be both sporty and elegant. It has an available rear aero wing performance-oriented chassis, wider wheel openings and fenders as well as a wider and shorter body than the G35 Sedan. This design, coupled with the sport tuned suspension means it hugs the road, an ability enhanced by the handsome and effective ultra wide P225/50VR17 tires up front and P235/50VR17 tires in the rear.

Xenon headlights, LED tail lamps and a variety of colors round out the exterior styling.

Performance
The G35 Sport Coupe has the same engine as the Sedan but a combination of higher engine performance and exhaust tuning results in an extra 20 hp, enabling the 3.5-liter dual overhead cam 24-valve V6 to produce 280hp at 6000 rpm and 260 lb-ft of torque at 4800. Ample power is available at any speed making the G35 a merging master at highway speeds. A limited slip differential is standard at the Coupe with leather level.

The sport coupe engine is teamed to an advanced 5-speed, electronically controlled automatic transmission with manual shift mode and is capable of 19/24 mpg but it is possible to get a 6-spoeed manual transmission for those out their wanting to tear it up, dominating every gear change.

Safety and Security
Passive safety technology includes 4-wheel vented disc brakes with ABS (Brembo brakes at the top level Coupe 6M/T level), dual front airbags, front side airbags and curtain side airbags. Active, or preventative innovations include standard traction control, skid control and antilock brakes with brake assist and electronic brake force distribution.
