2003 Lexus RX 300

be purchased as either a 2-wheel drive vehicle or an all-wheel drive vehicle.
The all-wheel drive 2003 Lexus RX 300 comes with a special towing package,
that includes a heavy-duty radiator, and a transmission oil cooler. This
package can also be included on the 2-wheel drive version.

The 2003 Lexus RX 300 is a four-door wagon that is available in one model.
It comes with either 2-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and is equipped
with 4-speed automatic transmission.
Interior Features
Like all Lexus vehicles, the interior features of the 2003 Lexus RX 300
speak of luxury. Nearly anything an SUV driver might want is included
as standard. There is a 10-way power driver seat with power lumbar support,
a 4-way power passenger seat, and a split folding rear seat to accommodate
cargo. The RX 300 also comes equipped with power mirrors, windows, and
door locks, a tachometer, a trip computer, remote keyless entry, and an
outside temperature indicator. Air conditioning with automatic climate
control is another standard feature, as are power steering, a tilt leather-wrapped
steering wheel, and cruise control. Map lights and illuminated visor mirrors
are also included.
For those consumers seeking even more luxury, leather upholstery is available,
as is a memory system that stores settings for the driver seat. The VN
Navigation System package offers both these upgrades, along with a navigation
system, an in-dash 6-disc CD changer, and a universal garage-door opener.
Exterior Features
This SUV comes equipped with rear privacy glass, and a power sunroof.
It also boasts a full-size spare tire to augment the 16-inch tires fitted
onto its alloy wheels. Automatic headlights are another standard feature
on the RX 300.
Performance
The 3.0-litre dohc V6 engine contained in the 2003 Lexus RX 300 produces
220 hp at 5800 rpm, and 222 lbs-ft of torque at 4400 rpm. This SUV is
operated with 4-speed automatic transmission, and offers a fuel efficiency
of 18/22 mpg (city/highway).
Safety and Security
As is desirable in an SUV, the 2003 Lexus RX 300 comes with a number of
standard safety features. These include antilock 4-wheel disc brakes,
an anti-skid system, brake assist, and daytime running lights. Also standard
are dual front airbags, and front side airbags. Fog lights are standard
as well, and for security, the RX 300 comes equipped with a theft-deterrent
system.
