Toyota Announces Value-Driven Prices For The
All-New 4Runner V6
Torrance, CA, Nov. 22, 2002 -- Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., released manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) today for the all-new 2003 4Runner mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) with a new V6 engine. The all-new 4Runner V8 was launched in mid-October. The 4Runner V6 arrives at dealer showrooms in December 2002.
In addition to the added power, the new engine is EPA-certified as a Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) with preliminary EPA city/highway gas mileage of 18/21 mpg for all 2WD models and 17/21 for all 4WD grades. The base MSRP for the SR5 4x2 grade will be $27,205, an increase of $870, or 3.3 percent. An MSRP of $29,480 for the SR5 4x4 represents an increase of $605, or 2.1 percent. The MSRP for the all-new Sport Edition will range from $29,000 for the 4x2 to $31,275 for the 4x4. Excellent value on the Limited grade is reflected through a base MSRP
of $33,405 for the 4x2, a reduction of $50, or 0.1 percent. An MSRP of
$35,680 for the Limited 4x4 represents a decrease of $425, or 1.2 percent
less than the previous generation.
