Torrance, CA, Nov. 22, 2002 -- Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., released manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) today for the all-new 2003 4Runner mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) with a new V6 engine. The new lightweight engine is Toyota's first all-aluminum engine in a light truck. The new V6 will deliver 245 horsepower at 5,200 RPM and will generate one of the highest six-cylinder torque capabilities in the mid-SUV segment with 282 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,800 RPM.

In addition to the added power, the new engine is EPA-certified as a Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) with preliminary EPA city/highway gas mileage of 18/21 mpg for all 2WD models and 17/21 for all 4WD grades.
