of America, Inc. today announced pricing on
the 2010 Subaru Forester. The newly redesigned
Forester - introduced last spring - hit an all-times
sales record for the company as it was the right
vehicle, at the right time, for people looking
to downsize from larger SUVs without giving
up valuable cargo room. Among its many accolades,
the Forester was named Sport/Utility of the
Year by Motor Trend magazine.

1,445 Miles on Single Tank of Gas
WASHINGTON, April 28, 2009 Toyota Motor
Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Drivers trained in mileage-maximizing
techniques such as smooth acceleration and coasting
to red lights were able to get an extraordinary
1,445.7 miles out of a single tank of gas during
a fund-raising effort in Washington, D.C. that
concluded today. They did it by averaging 81.5
miles per gallon in an off-the-showroom floor,
non-modified 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, the most
fuel-efficient midsize car in North America
nearly doubling its U.S. certified mileage.

Mustang Makes Movie Magic For 45 Years
FRANKLIN,
TN, April 24, 2009 Nissan North America,
Inc. (NNA) today announced pricing for the new
2010 Nissan Armada full-size SUV, which goes
on sale in mid-May at Nissan retailers nationwide.
The enhancements to the Armada for the new model
year include a revised model lineup, which now
features three well-equipped models: the Armada
SE and two special editions, the Armada Titanium
Edition and Armada Platinum Edition.
Manufacturers Suggested Retail Prices*
(MSRP) start at $37,210 for the 2010 Armada
4x2 SE and $42,810 for the Armada 4x4 SE.

its every drivers nightmare scenario.
BMW Group Research and Technology, in collaboration
with leading research institutes in Germany,
has now developed a system that can take the
heat out of such situations thanks to so-called
Car-2-X Communication. The research project
AMULETT (the German acronym for Active
mobile accident avoidance and mitigation of
accident effects through cooperative data acquisition
and tracking technology) involves vehicles
communicating with a radio transponder carried,
for example, by a pedestrian for purposes of
personal safety. Cooperative sensor systems
between the car and the transponder mean that
even hidden pedestrians can be recognised
