Each RSX Coupe base model packs an impressive 2.0-litre, DOHC,
16-valve, four-cylinder VTEC engine that cranks out 160 horsepower and
141 lb-ft of torque. The standard transmission is a quick-shifting five-speed
manual, with a responsive five-speed Sequential SportShift automatic available
as an option. High-mounted rack-and-pinion steering and an all-new finely-tuned
suspension contribute to precision handling.
The Acura RSX Type-S Coupe takes performance up a notch with a high0output
2.0-litre, twin cam engine that pumps out 200 horsepower and 142 lb-ft
of torque. This model sports an all-new six-speed close-ratio manual transmission
with double and triple-cone synchronizers for incredible shifting.
Safety and Security
Simply outstanding in this department, the 2002 Acura RSX Coupe
is equipped with safety standards such as four-wheel disc brakes with
ABS, side impact door beams, and both front and rear crumple zones. Passengers
are protected with a driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air
