2003 Infiniti QX4

The 2003 Infinity QX4 is a luxury SUV, the only non-sedan in Infiniti's line-up. First introduced in 1997, it has been described as an incredibly well thought out, comfort-oriented luxury vehicle. New for this year are some key packaging enhancements, offering previous options as standard equipment.

Available Models
The 2003 Infiniti QX4 comes as either a 2WD or 4WD 4-door wagon. There is a single trim level supplemented by several comprehensive equipment packages.

Interior Features
The interior of the 2003 Infiniti QX4 was designed with elegance and comfort in mind. A 6-speaker, 150-Watt Bose audio system is coupled with a Radio Data System and steering wheel controls is an example of the sophisticated electronics to be found. Other highlights include Bird's Eye maple wood trim, power seats, automatic climate control and much more.

Optional features include the Infiniti Mobile Entertainment System - a rear seat entertainment system with video cassette or DVD player, flip-down 6.4-inch ceiling mounted LCD screen and wireless headphones. Another valuable and innovative option is the Infiniti Navigation System with a 5.8-inch LCD screen and 3-D Birds view display.

Exterior Features
The outside of the 2003 Infiniti QX4 has been given a new exterior colour, Diamond Graphite, and available chrome-finished aluminum-alloy wheels. High Intensity Discharge (HID) xenon headlights with auto on/off feature, integrated fog lights and turn signals grace the exterior also, and the QX4 come with a full-size spare tire with matching alloy wheel.

The power remote-controlled heated outside mirrors have dual body-color mounts while black privacy glass, integrated fender flares, splash guards and step rails with slip-resistant inserts all round out the functional but classy outer design statement.

Performance
The QX4 has an advanced aluminum-alloy, double overhead-cam, 3.5-liter V6 produces 240 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 265 lb-ft of torque at 3,200 rpm. 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive platforms are available; featuring Infiniti's advanced All-Mode 4WD system.
The QX4 comes coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission; it gets 15/18 mpg and has plenty of pep with 0-60 in 9 seconds.

Safety and Security
4-wheel vented disc brakes with ABS, dual front airbags, front side airbags; front-seat active head restraints and the Immobiliser theft deterrent system all add safety and security for the QX4.
