2004 Toyota Camry - Price Quote

Visit Toyota for more information on the Toyota Camry.

The Camry is just one of many cars in the Toyota family that is sold by the millions and praised by owners and independent reviewers alike. It is attractively priced, guaranteed to drive for years, comfortable and safe.

This year, Camry fans have even more reason to celebrate. Increased V6 power to the family means a lineup of midsize cars that take a more commanding position on the road.

Also offered with this year's Camry is a brand-new 5-speed automatic transmission.

Available Models
The 2004 Toyota Camry is offered in three models: LE, SE and XLE.

Interior Features
The difference between LE and SE trims deals mainly with available powertrains. Inside, they both possess standard features like air conditioning, cruise control, cloth upholstery, a handy split folding rear seat, power mirrors, windows and door locks and an AM/FM/cassette/CD player.

And regardless of the trim, the body of the 2004 Toyota Camry is the same. It is a four-door sedan with five-passenger seating and up to 16.7 cubic feet of cargo space.

The XLE trim is up one big notch from the others in terms of interior appointments. Heated power mirrors, automatic climate control, a JBL stereo with an in-dash 6-disc CD changer, a trip computer and a universal garage-door opener are all standard.

Exterior Features
All models have a standard rear defogger at the back for safety and convenience purposes. Most have alloy wheels as well.

Performance
Each Camry trim can be had with one of two engines. LE and XLE models have the same choice, while the SE offers the base package and the new V6.

The base configuration consists of a 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder engine. It can be mated to 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission, and it produces 157 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 162 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm.

The 2.4-liter I4 is available with this year's SE trim. But why not opt for the new 3.3-liter V6 engine? It pumps out 225 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 222 lb-ft of torque at 3600 rpm.

Along with their strong new engine, SE models also feature a unique sport suspension. It does just as its name implies it should.

Safety and Security
XLEs and V6 SE models include antilock 4-wheel disc brakes; ABS is otherwise optional. Optional on all Camrys are front side airbags and head-protecting curtain side airbags, which can be combined with an optional antiskid system on V6 models.
