Available Models
The 2002 Buick Rendezvous SUV is available in two models this year - Rendezvous CX SUV and Rendezvous CXL SUV. Additionally, the 2002 Buick Rendezvous CX SUV comes with your choice of a standard front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive, while the Rendezvous CXL is offered with all-wheel drive only.

Interior Features
The comfortable interior of the 2002 Buick Rendezvous CX SUV accommodates five passengers and is blessed with numerous amenities. Among the standard features are single zone air conditioning with rear A/C outlets, AM/FM stereo with CD player, cruise control, and front floor console with two auxiliary power outlets.

The list continues with power door locks, power windows, front bucket seats and 50/50 split folding second row seats, and a leather-wrapped two-toned steering wheel with tilt feature and audio controls. Six- and seven-passenger seating is available on both models.

The 2002 Buick Rendezvous CXL SUV adds dual zone air conditioning, cassette player, electrochromic lighted rearview mirror, six-way power driver and passenger seats, and opulent leather upholstery.

Exterior Features
The rugged exterior of the CX model is highlighted with attractive features such as dark tint solar glass, black fold-away dual remote outside mirrors, sixteen-inch steel wheels with deluxe wheel covers, and an optional sunroof with console. The CXL model features heated dual power outside mirrors, a black roof rack with adjustable cross rails, and sixteen-inch eight-spoke brushed aluminum wheels.

Performance
Both the Rendezvous CX and CXL sport a 3.4-litre, six-cylinder engine with four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. Each vehicle is equipped with a stainless steel exhaust system, a MacPherson strut front suspension, SLA Independent rear suspension with monotube shocks, and power four-wheel disc front and rear brakes.

The Rendezvous CX comes with front-wheel drive as a standard, but offers a fully automatic on-demand all-wheel drive Versatrak as an option (standard on the CXL model).

Safety and Security
Every Buick Rendezvous SUV is equipped with standard safety features such as driver and passenger air bags, side impact air bags, child safety locks, adjustable front seat head restraints, OnStar one-year safety and security service, and a passive theft deterrent system. As well, each vehicle features a remote keyless entry system, three-point outboard seatbelts, ABS brakes, and front fog lights.
