LS Sedan packs a 3800 series II six-cylinder engine and a four-speed electronically
controlled automatic transmission with overdrive and brake/transmission
interlock. The steering is speed-sensitive magnetic variable-effort power
rack-and-pinion, and each vehicle is equipped with traction control, four-wheel
independent sport-tuned suspension, and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
The Regal GS Sedan upgrades performance with a 3800 series II supercharged
six-cylinder engine and a four-wheel independent Gran Touring suspension.
Safety and Security
The 2002 Buick Regal LS and GS Sedan both feature ABS brakes,
traction control, interior emergency trunk release handle, OnStar one-year
safety and security service, remote keyless entyr system, theft deterrent
system, child safety locks, and child seat tethers and anchors. Each sedan
is also equipped with driver and passenger air bags, three-point seatbelts
