The Montana features front-wheel drive, power rack-and-pinion steering, a fully independent MacPherson strut front suspension, and a stainless steel exhaust system. The standard transmission on all models is a responsive four-speed electronically-controlled automatic.

For excellent handling and performance on challenging terrain, including mud and snow conditions, the Montana Versatrak AWD directs power and control to all four wheels. This model also features an independent rear suspension and automatic level control.
