Three exciting and contemporary models are offered for the year 2002 - the Passat GLS 1.8T Wagon, Passat GLS VR6 Wagon, and Passat GLX Wagon. Every vehicle features four doors and a fifth door - a rear liftgate that allows you to access the cargo area quickly and easily.

For outstanding performance in challenging mud, snow, and other terrain condition, both models feature an available "4Motion" permanent all-wheel drive system that includes torque sensing center differential (available with the automatic transmission models only).
