2003 Nissan 350Z
The 2003 Nissan 350Z provides dedicated performance, hugging the road,
and offering steering capabilities that will please even the most demanding
of drivers. Powerful and attractive, this two-door hatchback will soon
be available in a convertible version as well.
Available Models
The 2003 Nissan 350Z is available in the following models: Base, Enthusiast,
Touring, Performance, and Track. All are two-door hatchbacks. The Base,
Performance, and Track models are available with 6-speed manual transmission
only, while the Enthusiast and Touring models can be purchased with a
5-speed automatic transmission that comes with a manual shift gate.
Interior Features
The standard interior features available on all 2003 Nissan 350Z models
include bucket seats, remote keyless entry, power door locks, mirrors,
and windows, air conditioning with automatic climate control, and an outside
temperature indicator. Other standard features are a trip computer, a
tachometer, a digital clock, power steering, and a tilt leather-wrapped
steering wheel.
The Enthusiast, Touring, Performance, and Track models also include cruise
control, and illuminated visor mirrors as standard. On the Touring, Performance,
and Track models, leather upholstery is standard, as is a 4-way power
driver seat, heated seats, and a Bose AM/FM/cassette with in-dash 6-disc
CD changer.
Exterior Features
All 2003 Nissan 350Z models ride on alloy wheels. The Base, Enthusiast,
and Touring automatic models have their wheels fitted with 17-inch performance
tires, while the Touring manual, Performance, and Track models sport 18-inch
performance tires. All models except the Base model come equipped with
xenon headlights. A rear spoiler is a standard feature on the Track model.
Performance
This sports car houses a 3.5-litre V6 engine which does 287 hp at 6200
rpm, and 274 lbs-ft of torque at 4800 rpm. Capable of 0-60 mph in less
than six seconds, the Nissan 350Z has a 6-speed manual transmission that
responds wonderfully. Those models fitted with automatic transmission
respond equally well, aided by their manual shift capabilities.
Safety and Security
Standard safety features on all 350Z models are dual front airbags, and
4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. For safety, a theft-deterrent system is
also standard on all models. Traction control is standard on the Enthusiast,
Touring, Performance, and Track models, while the Touring manual, Performance,
and Track models come equipped with an anti-skid system and a tire-pressure
monitor. The Track model provides upgraded brakes as a standard feature.
All models can be equipped with curtain side airbags and side airbags.
