The fuel consumption rating checks in at 21/29 mpg (city/hwy), giving the ES 300 an Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle certification. Improvements to the 2002 model have lead to greater precision and handling.

Safety and Security
The Lexus ES 300 Sedan is equipped with broad safety standards such as a newly redesigned unibody with new crush structures and passenger compartment reinforcements.
