The elegantly designed new Dodge Intrepid Sedan features a graceful blend of fine performance features and generous luxuries and conveniences. This is really a tremendously versatile vehicle that can easily accommodate busy families while at the same time boasting sophistication for business people and others on the go.

Available Models
Three superior models are taking center stage for the year 2002 - the Intrepid SE Sedan, Intrepid ES Sedan, and the Intrepid R/T Sedan. Each one takes performance and luxury up to another level.

Interior Features
The four-door Dodge Intrepid SE Sedan features a seating capacity of five passengers in a spacious and well-appointed interior that surrounds you in comfort of air conditioning along with the conveniences of power windows and power door locks. Options include cruise control, remote keyless entry system, and an AM/FM stereo with CD player.

Cruise control, remote keyless entry system, and an AM/FM stereo with CD player become standards at the Intrepid ES Sedan level, while genuine leather upholstery is available as a luxurious option.

Exterior Features
The Intrepid SE Sedan is equipped with dual power outside mirrors, while the Intrepid ES Sedan adds front fog lights.

Performance
Each Dodge Intrepid SE Sedan packs a six-cylinder, DOHC engine with sequential port fuel injection, 190 lbs-ft of torque, and 200 horsepower. This front-wheel drive sedan comes equipped with four-speed automatic transmission, plus all-season touring SBR tires. The fuel economy rating registers in at 20/28 mpg (city/hwy).

The Dodge Intrepid ES Sedan upgrades performance with a six-cylinder SOHC engine that pumps out an impressive 234 horsepower and 142 lbs-ft of torque. Up to the top level, the Intrepid R/T Sedan explodes with 244 horsepower and 150 lbs-ft of torque.

Safety and Security
Safety features on the Intrepid SE Sedan include standards such as child safety locks, front head restraints, three-point seatbelts, front and rear crumple zones, side impact door beams, a passenger depowered air bag, and a driver depowered air bag. Optional safety measures are listed as ABS brakes and side impact air bags.

The standard addition of ABS brakes, traction control, and a theft deterrent system comes with the Intrepid R/T Sedan.
