2003 Honda Odyssey
The Odyssey is Honda's all-star minivan. One of the best in the minivan
biz, the 2003 Honda Odyssey mixes comfort and style with outstanding safety

Available Models
LX and EX are the two available trims for the 2003 Honda Odyssey, with
the EX also being available in leather as the EX-L.
Interior Features
Instruments and controls are all at your fingertips inside the elegantly
appointed interior of the 2003 Honda Odyssey. Standard features include
air conditioning with air filtration, cruise control, power door and tailgate
locks, power windows, cruise control, AM/FM cassette stereo system, convertible
2nd row bucket seats, and retractable 3rd row magic seat that folds flush
with the floor. Up the line to the EX trim, add eight-way power driver's
seat adjustment, driver's seat lumbar support, six-speaker audio system,
and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.
On the EX-L, luxury is at its peak with leather-trimmed heated seats
and automatic air conditioning system. Also optional on the EX-L are a
satellite-linked navigation system, or a DVD entertainment system with
fold-down ceiling-mounted LCD screen, wireless headphones, and remote
control to keep your passengers happy, and perhaps as quiet, as clams.
Exterior Features
On the exterior of the 2003 Honda Odyssey, you will find dual-sliding
doors, dual power mirrors, rear privacy glass, multi-reflector halogen
headlights, and a rear roofline spoiler. Optional to the LX is alloy wheels.
Standard to the EX, add power dual-sliding doors, and alloy wheels.
Performance
The powertrain of both trims, LX and EX, includes a 3.5-litre V6 engine
that pumps out 240 horsepower @ 5500 rpm and 242 lb-ft of torque at 4500
rpm. Available with a 5-speed automatic transmission, the Odyssey gets
an estimated 18/25 (city/hwy) mpg. Both models are front-wheel drive.
Safety and Security
The outstanding standard safety features of the 2003 Honda Odyssey include
dual-stage front airbags, dual front side airbags, traction control, and
ABS brakes with electronic brake distribution system. An Immobilizer theft-deterrent
system, that prevents the Odyssey from being started up if an unauthorized
key is used, is also standard on both trims. For child safety, find child-proof
rear door locks, and child seat LATCH system with anchors and tethers
in the 2nd and 3rd rows. A security system with remote keyless entry is
standard on the EX, and optional on the LX.
